Designed to protect cavities, edges and chamfers of gas pipes during transportation and storage.
Plugs BIO are used for connecting parts and stop valves of different diameters:
• 530 - 1420 mm for main gas pipelines;
• 67 - 426 mm pipes for gasification.
Under the influence of UV-radiation and environmental factors the plug BIO material is destroyed at the molecular level and turns into a powder. Then the microorganisms in the ground take over the process. As a result, plugs BIO decompose in the soil under the influence of environmental factors without harming the ecosystem and do not require disposal. The decomposition period is up to 10 years and can be regulated.
