"Gazprom and Caspian Innovation Company (CIC) signed a long-term contract.

On October 7, Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Member of the Gazprom Board of Directors and Sergey Shtepa, Executive Director of Caspian Innovation Company (CIC), within the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum 2021 signed a long-term contract for supply of ethane fraction and liquefied hydrocarbons (LPG).

The document sets the main terms of delivery of valuable components to be separated from natural gas at Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant (GPP) to CIC prospective polymer production complex in Astrakhan Region. The annual volume of ethane fraction and LPG supplies is no less than 400,000 tons. The term of the contract is 20 years.
