Sergey Shtepa signed a preliminary contract for the delivery of liquefied petroleum gases at SPIEF-2021.

On June 4, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021, Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Sergey Shtepa, Executive Director of the Caspian Innovation Company (CIC) signed a preliminary contract on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supply from Gazprom's Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant to CIC's prospective Astrakhan Gas Chemical Complex. The document contains the main conditions of future supplies under a long-term contract (20 years), including LPG scopes and a price formula.

In November 2020, Gazprom PJSC and Caspian Innovation Company LLC signed a cooperation agreement on the implementation of the gas chemical complex project in the Astrakhan Region, as well as a preliminary agreement on the supply of ethane fraction from the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant.
