Caspian Innovative Company LLC, a project company of METACLAY JSC, is included in the plan of the Ministry of Energy for the development of gas and petrochemical industries in Russia for the period until 2030. The plan is designed to solve the systemic problem of a low level processing of hydrocarbon raw materials with increasing volume of its extraction in our country. For example, according to the ministry, there were extracted 722 thousand tons of ethane in Russia in 2018. It is proposed that in 2021 this figure will be doubled.

"The Caspian Innovation Company is a project for deep processing of natural ethane into metallocene polyethylenes with high added value. The company plans to produce 300 thousand tons of such polyethylenes per year. 30% of the produced volume will be consumed by METACLAY, the rest will be exported. Active support for the export of domestic high-tech materials is also included in the development plan of the Ministry of Energy until 2030.
