METACLAY Group of Companies took part in the VIII St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF-2018), which was held from October 2 to October 5 in St. Petersburg at the Expoforum, Convention and Exhibition Center. Our materials and technologies were presented at the stands of Gazprom StroyTEK Salavat JSC and RUSNANO LLC Management Company.

METACLAY JSC demonstrated anticorrosive polyethylene powder coatings for pipeline fittings (elbows, tees, fittings, etc.) of the COUTMET series, hot melt fillers for repairing polyethylene factory outer coating, UKM covering material to protect the outer anticorrosion coating of pipelines in coarse-grained rocky soil, plugs for pipes based on the biodegradable material "METALEN BIO" and black concentrate dry color. There was also a presentation of the laboratory and project service capabilities of METACLAY Research and Development LLC - the company-resident of the Skolkovo innovation center.

On October 3, the SPIGF-2018 exposition, including the Gazprom StroyTEK Salavat stand, was visited by Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprom PJSC, heads of departments of Gazprom PJSC, shareholders, CEOs and heads of domestic and foreign organizations. Sergey Shtepa, Director General of Gazprom StroyTEK Salavat JSC, presented the achievements of cooperation with the METACLAY Group of Companies to the guests and talked about the development plans, in particular, about the joint development of the fiberglass pipes coating “Kolchuga” for protection during pulling by horizontal drilling method.

On October 4, 2018, the Forum was attended by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Board of Gazprom, Maarten Wetselaar, Chairman of the Board and Member of the Executive Committee of Royal Dutch Shell, Rainer Seele, Chief Executive Officer of OMV company,  Joe M. Kang, President of the International Gas Union, Ulf Heitmüller, Chairman of the Board of Verbundnetz Gas Company, Weihong Qin, Vice President of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC),  Fif Martin, Business Director of Uniper SE.

SPIGF-2018 was held with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Government of St. Petersburg, the Russian Export Center JSC, the Russian Gas Society, the National Gas-Motor Consortium of Italy (NGV Italy).
