Description
METALEN PE-1 is a black high-density polyethylene of bimodal type, which is produced from a mixture of linear polyethylene and high-density polyethylene by reactive extrusion with nano-activation with organo-modified montmorillonite on modern equipment using the latest technology of METACLAY JSC.
METALEN PE-1 has high strength, heat resistance, high resistance to cracking and unique elasticity at temperatures below freezing. Material for special conditions may contain nano UV stabilizer.
METALEN PE-1 meets the requirements of the System of standardization of Gazprom 2–2.3-130-2007 and is certified by Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC (Conclusion No. 313239949-113-2011) for insulating steel pipes of any performance class with temperatures up to plus 800C.
Application
METALEN PE-1 is recommended for the outer layer of the coating when insulating pipes using the method of lateral and circular (longitudinal) extrusion. When using METALEN PE-1, high application speeds are ensured and, if necessary, thin layers are achieved without problem. Thanks to nano-activation with modified montmorillonite during extrusion, low loads on the screw drive are provided and high productivity is achieved.

Description
METALEN APE-1 is a polyethylene produced from a mixture of linear polyethylene and high-density polyethylene by reactive extrusion, containing grafted functional groups of maleic anhydride with nanostructuring with organo-modified montmorillonite on modern equipment using the latest technology of METACLAY JSC.
METALEN APE-1 has high adhesion activity to both polyethylene and epoxy layers in a three-layer polyethylene coating of pipes. It has the advantages of resistance at heating, high resistance to exposure of hot water and unique elasticity at temperatures below freezing.
METALEN APE-1 meets the requirements of the System of standardization of Gazprom 2–2.3-130-2007 and is certified by Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC (Conclusion No. 313239949-113-2011) for insulating steel pipes of any performance class with temperatures up to plus 800C.
