Nanosilicate – Organophilic Clay.

Description

Chemically modified montmorillonite in powder form from grey-white to white-yellow color.

Application

MONAMET 1O4 nanosilicate has a special modifier that improves nanoclay compatibility with substances which molecules contain both aliphatic chains and aromatic functional groups.

MONAMET 1O4 may be applied as a functional additive in the following polymers: polyethylene (РЕ), polypropylene (РР), copolymers based thereon, polyolefins (PO) containing grafted polar functional groups in the polymer chain (maleinized and oxidized), rubbers containing aromatic functional groups, polystyrene (PS), polyvinylchloride (PVC); copolymers of ethylene and vinyl acetate (EVA), polyamides (polyamide 6, polyamide – 6,6 and etc.).

MONAMET 1O4 may be applied as an additive to some oligomeric and low-molecular-weight substances as thickeners (rheological additives): epoxy resins, bitumens, polymer-bitumen binders, solvents for paints and varnishes, as a preparation component for organic drilling fluids
