On December 03, 2020 at the production site of METACLAY JSC in Karachev, it is planned a grand opening of the production line for series production of fiberglass unidirectional reinforced tape "METALENTA" for protection of the insulation coating of main gas and oil pipelines steel pipes for the project of production of fiberglass protective coating "Kolchuga".
To implement this project, an investment agreement was signed with the Monocities Development Fund in 2019, under which industrial equipment was purchased and installed. Due to the launch of the project:
• the range of manufactured products will be expanded and the base for the production of fiberglass protective coating "Kolchuga" will be created;
• 62 new jobs will be created.
On the same day on the occasion of the grand opening of the line there will be a Roundtable "Investment potential of the Bryansk region. Implementation of METACLAY JSC projects under the guidance of the Department of Chemical Engineering Complex and Bioengineering Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The Roundtable together with JSC METACLAY will be organized by FSUE "STC "Chimvest" of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Key questions will be discussed during the meeting: features of creation and realization of investment projects in cooperation with regional authorities and state funds, realization of investment projects within the limitations, experience of realization of programs with state support, plans for further investment development of the region and JSC METACLAY.
The event will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Nonprofit organization "Monocities Development Fund", Administration of Bryansk and Karachev.
Due to the epidemiological situation in the country and the restrictions imposed in connection with the spread of a new coronavirus infection "covid-19", an online broadcast of the opening of the production line is planned, as well as a roundtable in the ZOOM-conference mode.
